A few Words
About Me
Hello! I’m Fredrick, a landscape, nature, and seascape photographer living in the beautiful city of Bergen, Norway. My journey with photography began over three decades ago, when I received my first analog film camera at the age of 14. Little did I know that this gift would spark a lifelong passion and creative outlet.
As I grew and developed my skills, I became increasingly fascinated with the art of photography. I spent hours learning about composition, experimenting with manual camera adjustments, and honing my eye for capturing the perfect shot. The thrill of watching a scene come together – the light, the colors, the textures – was (and still is) exhilarating!
When digital cameras emerged, I was initially skeptical. But once I made the switch and discovered the power of digital post-processing with Photoshop, I was hooked all over again! The ability to enhance and refine my images, to bring out the full depth and emotion of a scene, was a game-changer.
Over the years, my interests have narrowed to focus on landscapes, nature, and seascapes. There’s something about capturing the majesty of the natural world – the drama of a stormy sky, the serenity of a misty forest, the power of a crashing wave – that speaks to me on a deep level. Of course, I also enjoy exploring other genres, like street photography, which keeps me on my toes and challenges me to see the world from fresh perspectives.
Today, I’m grateful to be able to share my photography with others. Whether you’re a fellow photographer, a nature lover, or simply someone who appreciates the beauty of the world around us, I hope you find something that resonates with you in my images. Thanks for joining me on this journey!
Best,
Fredrick
